Name Card Printing Singapore: 100 Cards From SGD 30
Alibaba Printing prints name cards in Singapore from $30 for 1 box, and 10 boxes cost $90, about 9 cents a card. A box is 100 cards, printed full colour on 260gsm art card with matt lamination at the standard 90mm x 54mm. Extra names on the same order are $8 each. Collect from Ang Mo Kio or have them delivered.
How much does name card printing cost in Singapore?
Name card printing at Alibaba Printing starts at $30 for one box of 100 cards, and 10 boxes cost $90, about 9 cents a card. A box is 100 cards. The price covers 260gsm art card, matt lamination on both sides, printed full colour at the standard 90mm x 54mm size. Extra names on the same order are $8 each.
Here is the whole ladder, with what each card actually costs you:
One box is the smallest order. Ten boxes costs $60 more than one and gives you 900 more cards, which is why most people order more than they first plan to.
What is a box of name cards, and how many do I need?
A box is 100 cards. Two boxes is 200 cards, five boxes is 500, ten boxes is 1,000.
Most people underestimate. If you go to two or three networking events a month and hand out ten cards at each, 200 cards is roughly six months. Sales and property agents go through a box a month. Since 1,000 cards cost $90 and 200 cost $40, the extra 800 work out at just over 6 cents each, and cards do not expire as long as your number stays the same.
How much does it cost to print name cards for several people?
Each extra name on the same order is $8. The box price stays the same and you split it however you like.
Say your team needs 10 boxes between two people, five boxes each. That is $90 for the boxes plus $8 for the second name, so $98 in total. Five people sharing the same 10 boxes, two boxes each, is $90 plus four extra names at $8, so $122, which is $24.40 a head for 200 cards each.
This is where ordering as a company beats everyone ordering separately. Five people each buying two boxes on their own would be $200. Ordering together is $122 for exactly the same cards.
What is the best value quantity for name cards?
Ten boxes, which is 1,000 cards, for $90. That is about 9 cents a card, and it is the point where the price per card stops falling much.
The reason is that most of the cost sits in setting up the press rather than in the card itself. One box of 100 costs $30, which is 30 cents a card. Ten boxes cost $90, which is 9 cents. You pay three times the money and get ten times the cards.
There are a couple of points on the way up where the next step costs nothing extra, so it is always worth telling us the most you might need rather than the least. We will point out when ordering a little more costs the same or less per card.
What upgrades are available?
Heavier stocks at 310gsm and 350gsm, soft touch lamination, ivory card, round corners, spot UV, gold and silver foil on one or both sides, and hot stamping. Each is quoted on your artwork when you enquire.
Which one is worth it depends on the card. Soft touch changes how the card feels in the hand, which people notice immediately. Spot UV and foil change how it catches the light, which people notice across a table. Tell us where the card gets handed over and we will say which is worth paying for.
What paper are the name cards printed on?
260gsm art card with matt lamination on both sides is the standard, and it is what the prices above cover. It is the weight most Singapore businesses use: substantial enough not to bend in a wallet, and matt lamination keeps fingerprints off.
Heavier and specialist stocks are available and quoted on your spec, including 300gsm and 350gsm art card, textured linen and canvas boards, metallic boards, and synthetic waterproof card for outdoor or workshop use. Gloss lamination is available if you prefer colours to lift rather than sit flat.
What size are name cards in Singapore?
90mm x 54mm is the standard size in Singapore and the size the prices above are based on. It fits card holders, wallets and card slots in phone cases.
Other sizes we print: 85mm x 50mm, 85mm x 54mm, 88mm x 50mm, 88mm x 54mm, square 54mm x 54mm, and 85.5mm x 54mm with rounded corners. A square or rounded card gets noticed, but check it fits a standard holder before committing to 10 boxes of it.
What finishes can I add to a name card?
Matt or gloss lamination is included. Beyond that we print spot UV, embossing, gold and silver foil, and kraft and eco stocks, each quoted on your artwork.
A short guide to which does what. Spot UV puts a raised gloss varnish over part of a matt card, so a logo catches the light while the rest stays flat. Embossing presses the shape up out of the card, so it reads by touch as well as sight. Foil stamps metallic gold or silver that no digital printer can reproduce. Each is a separate pass on the press, so they add to both cost and lead time. Tell us what the card is for and we will say which one is worth it.

How long does name card printing take?
Standard turnaround is a few working days from artwork approval. Faster turnarounds, including same-day and one-hour collection for straight-corner cards, are available on request.
Express work depends on what is on the press that day, so confirm it with us before you promise a date to anyone. Laminated, foiled or embossed cards need longer than plain ones because each finish is an extra pass.
How do I send artwork for name card printing?
Send a print-ready PDF in CMYK at 300dpi, 90mm x 54mm, with 3mm bleed on every edge and important text kept 4mm inside the trim.
Two things cause most reprints. The first is artwork built in RGB, which shifts colour on press, so convert to CMYK and check your brand colours still look right. The second is text sitting too close to the edge, which gets trimmed. If you do not have a print-ready file, send what you have and we will tell you what needs fixing before anything goes on the press.
Can you design the name card for me?
Yes. If you have a logo and the details to go on the card, we can set it out for you and send a proof before printing.
Nothing prints until you approve the proof. Check the spelling of your own name, the phone number digit by digit, and the email address, because those three are what people get wrong and only notice after 1,000 cards are printed.

Can I collect the name cards, or do you deliver?
Both. Collect from our office at LINK@AMK, 3 Ang Mo Kio Street 62, #02-02, Singapore 569139, or we deliver anywhere in Singapore from S$8.
We print the rest of what an office needs as well, so one supplier covers your name cards alongside letterheads, envelopes, flyers, stickers and folders.
