The standard sticker size in Singapore is 90 x 54 mm, the footprint of a name card, and it is the size our entry price of SGD 17 for 50 mirrorkote stickers is based on. Any size or shape can be cut, including circles, rounded rectangles and die-cut outlines. Size the sticker for the surface it goes on, build the file with 3 mm bleed in CMYK at 300 dpi, and when comparing quotes compare price per sticker at the same dimensions, because a 30 x 30 mm sticker has about a fifth of the area of a 90 x 54 mm one.

What is the standard sticker size in Singapore?
90 x 54 mm. It matches a name card, fits on most packaging, bottles and boxes, and it is the size our pricing starts from: SGD 17 for 50 pieces on mirrorkote, printed full colour on the front. Current rates and materials are on the sticker printing page. There is no fixed menu beyond that; stickers are cut to whatever size and shape the job needs.
What are the common sticker sizes and what are they used for?
The sizes below are the ones that come up most often. Area is listed because price follows area more than any other factor, and the last column shows each size against the 90 x 54 mm standard so you can read a quote correctly.
| Size | Shape | Pixels at 300 dpi | Area | Against 90 x 54 mm | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 90 x 54 mm | Rectangle | 1063 x 638 px | 48.6 cm2 | 1.0x | Standard; product labels, packaging, promotional stickers |
| 30 x 30 mm | Square | 354 x 354 px | 9 cm2 | 0.19x | Logo seals, small QR codes, the size behind many cheap headline prices |
| 40 mm | Circle | 472 x 472 px | 12.6 cm2 | 0.26x | Packaging seals, cup lids, thank-you stickers |
| 50 mm | Circle | 591 x 591 px | 19.6 cm2 | 0.40x | Jar lids, bakery boxes, logo stickers |
| 50 x 50 mm | Square | 591 x 591 px | 25 cm2 | 0.51x | Laptop and notebook stickers, event giveaways |
| 70 x 40 mm | Rectangle | 827 x 472 px | 28 cm2 | 0.58x | Small product labels, price tags, name labels |
| 70 mm | Circle | 827 x 827 px | 38.5 cm2 | 0.79x | Food container lids, round product labels |
| 100 x 50 mm | Rectangle | 1181 x 591 px | 50 cm2 | 1.03x | Shipping and address labels, ingredient labels |
| 80 x 100 mm | Rectangle | 945 x 1181 px | 80 cm2 | 1.65x | Bottle labels, wrap-around jar labels |
| 105 x 148 mm (A6) | Rectangle | 1240 x 1748 px | 155.4 cm2 | 3.2x | Carton labels, large packaging panels, window stickers |
Circles are listed by diameter; their area is smaller than a square of the same width, which is why a 70 mm circle costs less material than a 70 x 70 mm square.
How do I read a cheap sticker price?
Check the size before the number. A low headline price is often quoted on a 30 x 30 mm sticker, which is 9 square centimetres against 48.6 for the 90 x 54 mm standard, about a fifth of the material. Divide the quoted price by the quantity to get a price per sticker, then make sure both quotes are for the same dimensions and the same material. Four things move a sticker price: size, quantity, material and finishing. Vinyl and synthetic cost more than mirrorkote because they survive water and sunlight; lamination, die-cutting to a custom shape and foil each add a step.
Which size suits which surface?
Measure the flat area the sticker will sit on and size the sticker to it, not to the biggest option. A sticker that overhangs a curve lifts at the edges within days. For bottles and jars, measure the straight section of the side; a wrap-around label on a 250 ml bottle is usually in the 80 x 100 mm range, while a lid seal is a 40 mm or 50 mm circle. For cartons, a 100 x 50 mm label reads at arm’s length and an A6 panel reads across a stockroom. For packaging seals on a box flap, 40 mm or 50 mm circles close the flap and tear on opening. For laptops and giveaways, 50 x 50 mm is the size people actually keep. If you are unsure, tell us what the sticker needs to stick to and we will suggest a size.
Die-cut, kiss-cut or sheets: does the size change?
No, the cut changes how the sticker comes off the backing, not its printed size. Die-cut means the sticker and its backing are both cut to the shape, so each piece is separate; it suits stickers handed out or sold on their own. Kiss-cut means only the sticker layer is cut and the backing sheet stays whole, which is easier to peel and lets several designs sit on one sheet; it suits sets and anything peeled quickly in volume. Sticker sheets group many kiss-cut stickers on one page. Any of the sizes in the table can be supplied any of these ways.
What bleed and file specs does a sticker need?
3 mm bleed on every edge, artwork in CMYK at 300 dpi, PDF preferred. For a 90 x 54 mm sticker the file is 96 x 60 mm, 1134 x 709 pixels. For a circle, build the artwork on a square canvas of the diameter plus 6 mm and extend the background past the circle edge. Keep text and logos at least 3 mm inside the cut line; on small stickers that margin is a large share of the face, which is one reason a 30 x 30 mm sticker can hold a logo but not a sentence. For die-cut outlines, supply the cut path as a separate spot colour layer. RGB files are converted to CMYK on press and bright colours shift, so convert before sending; we check every file and flag anything that will not reproduce well.
| Sticker size | File size with 3 mm bleed | Pixels at 300 dpi | Safe area for text |
|---|---|---|---|
| 90 x 54 mm | 96 x 60 mm | 1134 x 709 px | 84 x 48 mm |
| 50 mm circle | 56 x 56 mm canvas | 661 x 661 px | 44 mm circle |
| 30 x 30 mm | 36 x 36 mm | 425 x 425 px | 24 x 24 mm |
| 100 x 50 mm | 106 x 56 mm | 1252 x 661 px | 94 x 44 mm |
Which material for which size?
Material follows where the sticker lives, not its size. Mirrorkote, a glossy paper sticker, is the standard and the most economical for indoor use: product labels, packaging seals, price tags. Vinyl is waterproof and tear resistant for anything that gets wet or goes outdoors: bottles, car decals, outdoor signage. Synthetic is the most durable for industrial labels and equipment marking. Transparent shows the surface through the sticker for glass and clear packaging. A 50 mm bakery seal is mirrorkote; the same 50 mm circle on a chilled drink bottle is vinyl.
